Choice Hotels International Chooses EthoStream, LLC for the Econo Lodge Internet Roll-Out
May 19, 2006 - Choice Hotels Has Chosen EthoStream to Implement the Wireless Hotspot Initiative for the 800+ Property Econo Lodge Hotel Chain.
Announced at the 2006 Choice Hotels International Conference, Choice Hotels has chosen to partner with Milwaukee-based HSIA provider EthoStream, LLC to roll out high-speed Internet to the 800+ Econo Lodge franchise locations. Choice has worked extensively with EthoStream to add proprietary technology into EthoStream’s EGS v4.0 gateway and re-brand the modified device as the Econo Lodge Internet Gateway. In addition, EthoStream will be providing support for the property guests as well as system management and monitoring. EthoStream will provide monthly updates to the Econo Lodge Internet Gateway to extend the abilities provided to the property owners as well as work directly with Choice to provide management and reporting functionality.
